Physical zine with physical merch. Digital zine will be released for free upon project completion.

SPECS: 1-2.5k word count for fics; each fic will have an accompanying art spread + spot illustrations.

What is a zine? A zine is a fanmade project by fans for fans.

What is the theme of this zine? The zine aims to showcase two contrasting sides: elegant angst and clown fluff of the four calamities—Hua Cheng, He Xuan, Qi Rong, and Jun Wu, in any form—from MXTX's novel, Tian Guan Ci Fu (TGCF).

Is the zine for-profit? No. In accordance to JJWXC's policies, the zine will operate in P4P format.

What is P4P? P4P, known as Pay-for-production, means customers will be paying only for the price required to produce the goods. In order to compensate our hardworking artists, cost required to cover contributor bundles will also be included in the final bundle price.

Will NSFW content be allowed? No. This zine is strictly SFW. We understand, however, given the nature of the original series, certain NSFW themes—death, gore, violence—will be inevitable. Therefore, NSFW within canon parameters will be permitted; any sexual content is a hard No.

Will I need zine experience to apply? No. Anyone is welcome to apply, if you have not created for the fandom before, you're welcome to create something to apply for the zine, but if accepted that is separate to the zine piece.
